Globus Certificate Service: Request a User Certificate
Follow the steps below to generate a service certificate:
- Read the
Globus Certificate Service disclaimer.
- Install the the
Globus Certificate Service setup package
- Run the Globus grid-cert-request program:
grid-cert-request
This will generate a certificate request, which will be stored in the file
$HOME/.globus/usercert_request.pem. This command may also
generate a message instructing you to email the certificate request;
that message should be ignored, as you will be uploading the request
using this form instead.
- Fill in and submit the following form to upload your certificate request.
If all goes well, you should get your certificate back for downloading.
